The Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire Moors as depicted in the vet books by James Herriot and Castle Howard of Brideshead Revisited fame, are all within easy reach of York. Further afield there is the Pennine village of Howarth, home of the Bronte sisters and picturesque fishing villages such as Whitby, Staithes and Robin Hood's Bay. I am a knowledgeable, friendly, experienced tour guide.
