The Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire Moors as depicted in the vet books by James Herriot and Castle Howard of Brideshead Revisited fame, are all within easy reach of York. Further afield there is the Pennine village of Howarth, home of the Bronte sisters and picturesque fishing villages such as Whitby, Staithes and Robin Hood's Bay. I am a knowledgeable, friendly, experienced tour guide. My name is John Greenwood and I host visits for small parties to anywhere in the Heart of England and Yorkshire including city tours, walking tours, museums, cathedrals, castles, stately homes and gardens, world heritage sites, Victorian era buildings and industrial revolution archeology, theater, concerts and festivals (indoor and outdoor) etc. I can meet clients at their preferred location such as an airport, hotel, cruise terminal or railway station etc.
