Hanitai Alyagon was born in a farming village in central Israel and absorbed his love of the land from his pioneer parents. At the age of 18 he entered an elite field unit in the Israeli army, where he reached the rank of lieutenant colonel and commanded an armored unit. He saw action first in the Sinai Campaign of 1956 and later took part in the Yom Kippur War on the southern front.
While Hanitai practices law, he prefers his second job as a licensed Israeli tour guide and a specialist in military history. He is familiar with every inch of Israel's land and history, and tell you stories about the country's conflicts that will excite and astound you.
