Day 1 :
Tozeur - Chebika - Tamerza - Tozeur
Arrival in Tozeur and transfer to the hotel. Visit of the mountain oasis of Chebika, Tamerza and Mides. Mides may be the most attractive of Tunisia's mountain oases, with a stunning gorge stretching for 3 km. The gorge was used as part of the village's natural defence in older days. The gorge is distinct with its round shapes, and strong contrasts in color. Tamerza is the largest mountain oasis of Tunisia. The mountain oases lie in the mountains north of the salt lakes, and receives water from springs in the barren mountain. Spectacular effects between dead and living nature makes the area a gem for visitors. Lunch in Tamerza. Return to the hotel.
After dinner, visit of The museum of popular arts.
Day 2:
Total kilometers: 50 kms. After breakfast, departure to Nefta for a panoramic view of the oasis. Nefta is the holy village of the south, both for its many holy buildings and for its sufis, people following mystical traditions. Visit of the star war movie installations in the desert. Lunch in Tozeur. In the afternoon , visit of the market and the old village of Tozeur. Return to the hotel.
