We start the day in the amazing village of Chateuneuf du Pape which is surrounded by vineyards and which is famous for its outstanding red wine. The Grenache variety is the king here generally mixed with Syrah and Mourvedre. If you like full bodied red wine, this is your place. Wine tasting in a couple of wineries and drive through the vineyards. Then, we discover other nice places producing interesting wines as well: Gigondas, Vacqueyras. We end the day tasting the sweet wine produced in Beaumes de Venise with muscat. Delicious!
