Other Activities:
An optional cultural activity program is offered each week by our Chinese language school. These afternoon activities have a very reasonable admission fee or are sometimes free of charge depending on the activities chosen.
Examples of weekly activities include Chinese cooking, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Kung Fu, Chinese massage, calligraphy, Chinese medicine, cultural and history workshops, and visits to fascinating places such as The Great Wall of China, the Forbidden City, the 798 art area, the Beijing countryside and the Summer Palace of Empress Cixi.

Located in the Chaoyang District, our Chinese Mandarin language school is very close to the host family homes. Chaoyang boasts rich cultural resources, a high concentration of foreign companies, embassies, hotels, apartments and excellent infrastructure. With over 3000 foreign companies and 167 international news agencies, the district is also home to the China World Trade Centre and the China International Exhibition Centre, plus more than 600 other cultural and recreational venues! Chaoyang also contains the 2008 Olympic village.
Our Chinese partner school contains up-to-date facilities and provides free email/internet access and wireless facilities. It has a relaxation area with tea and coffee, and balconies overlooking the central courtyard garden. The Chinese multilingual staff are delighted to provide you with any information and assistance you may require during your stay.
