* Location: We are situated in southern Paris, near the Exhibition Park of Porte de Versailles.
* Program: Our program in Paris in July and August provides an excellent opportunity for you to combine learning the language in the mornings with sightseeing in the afternoons. Classes are for all levels and can be from 1 - 6 weeks over the summer. If your child(ren) are between the ages of 6 - 17, they are welcome on our morning program from 9-12 noon. They are placed in a group based on language level and age. At the same time, adults take a language program to work on their communication skills, at any level.
* Teaching methodology: Our main objective is to develop an individual's learning strategies. This enables the students to transfer communication skills that they have already mastered in their native language to the new language. Verbal communication is a priority: learning to listen and understand, to express oneself correctly and with good pronunciation.The ultimate objective is to raise students' language level to an efficient standard of communication.
The afternoon is free to either join our social program or to go off and do some sightseeing as a family.
* Accommodation in residence: Our residence is well known for the quality of services.- From a studio to a 6 person apartment, all the flats include a kitchen area, a bathroom with toilets, a TV, a telephone and a weekly cleaning service, Bed sheets and towels are provided and changed once a week. Most apartments have either a balcony, a terrace or a private garden. All the facilities are modern, functional and of a very good quality.
Faculty Information:
Our teachers are all qualified to teach French and experienced in dealing with the age group they are assigned.
Other Activities:
We have a social program in the afternoons that students can join.
There is a small fee for activities and a larger fee for excursions away and theater trips. Some examples include:
- Walks in historic and picturesque quarters of the capital, either with a guide or with the help of an itinerary-game written up by the pedagogical team: the Latin Quarter with Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Marais, the Montmartre Quarter with the Sacré-Cœur Cathedral.
- Guided tours of the numerous museums of Paris: the Louvre, the Museum of Modern Art, the Picasso Museum, etc.
-Outings to the cinema or the theater which often give rise to lively discussions in Parisian cafés.
- Excursions in the Loire Valley and its famous castles.
- In the Summer, students are invited to attend weekly conferences held at the school on various topics of French civilization.
