Our classes are offered throughout the year and are taught in 6 different levels from beginner to advanced. The minimum period of study is two weeks. Class sizes are small giving each student the opportunity to participate fully in class activities. Groups are organized according to ability after an individual test. Lessons are held from 9.00 to 14.00 pm and are taught in 90 min sessions, 1 lesson last 45 min. Our small classes allow teachers to interact individually with students and ensure no questions are left unanswered.
Spanish classes are based on a communicative approach. Students enjoy studying the Spanish language in a friendly atmosphere where they develop speaking and listening skills related to daily situations; however, Spanish grammar and writing exercises are not ignored.
Our small classes also allow our Spanish language teachers to interact individually with students and to ensure that in our Spanish courses no question is left unanswered. The teachers use a wide variety of dynamic and motivational activities, and in class, both the students and the teacher speak only Spanish.

In addition to our Spanish courses in Barcelona, in the afternoon we offer a variety of cultural activities. The Spanish teachers accompany students and act as guides and instructors in real-world situations along Barcelona. Students of Tandem Barcelona participating in cultural activities pay for their own transportation to the activities, and also for any movie or museum tickets.
Facility Information:
We provide our students with accommodation in private flats with kitchen facilities. Each student has their own room. Sheets and towels are provided. Flats are shared with the owner and occasionally with one more student. The stay begins on a Sunday and finishes on a Saturday. Our accommodation is close to the city center and is accessible by public transport from the school in about 15 minutes.
For a single room the price per week is 110 €. Reservation for double room is only accepted for people coming together, price is 95 € per person per week. In July and August we also offer student residence, located just 4 minute walking distance from Tandem in the city center. For a single room with breakfast, the price per night is 31 €. For a double room with breakfast the price per person per night is 27 €. Please inquire for availability.
