Faculty Information:
Escuela Montalbán has been offering Spanish courses since 1986. Our Spanish school is located in Granada, one of the most fascinating cities in Andalusia, southern Spain. The Spanish courses are held throughout the year. The friendly atmosphere and personal touch in our Spanish classes and the Andalusian charm of Granada will make your language holidays an unforgettable experience. We are accredited by the Spanish Instituto Cervantes and a member of TANDEM International. The school is also a D.E.L.E. Examination Center.
Other Activities:
What a better way to bring to you the tastes of Andalusia than to take you directly into an Andalusian kitchen. Join us in Granada, the last Muslim Kingdom in Spain, and learn about the Arabic legacy still present in the succulent cuisine of this beautiful Eastern Andalusian region.
Spanish cuisine owes a large part of its riches to the Arabs. Although many cultural achievements from that period were forgotten when the Christians recaptured Spain, the art of making sweet has remained. You will learn how to prepare some of the most exquisite recipes coming from Al-Andalous times.
Our teacher is a professional cook with many years experience in catering. He will demonstrate either a 3-course menu or a selection of tapas. The cooking course consists of 6 classes of 45 minutes per week during 3 evenings.
Facility Information:
The school building with its Andalusian style, its friendly classrooms, and its beautiful courtyard retains much of the charm and intimacy of a family home. It is situated in a quiet location just ten minutes away from the city center.
