Each morning-time Yoga As Muse session will guide you through an expanding ring of writer's compassion. In the afternoon, we will explore the heart & soul of craft in three genres and also participate in optional sharing sessions in a safe atmosphere. Faculty Information:
Jeffrey Davis has lived the writing life and taught creative writing for over 20 years. As a world-renowned author, mentor, coach, editor, and yogi, he founded the Yoga As Muse for Authentic Writing Workshops in 1999 to help writers and artists integrate Yoga's practices and principles into their creative process. His innovative teachings and work have been featured in The Writer, Poets & Writers, and Integral Yoga Magazine. Author of The Journey from the Center to the Page (Penguin 2004; updated edition, Monkfish 2008) and City Reservoir (Barnburner Press), Jeffrey's essays, fiction, and poetry appear in magazines and journals throughout the United States and London. He teaches in Western Connecticut State University's MFA in Professional Writing Program, the University of New Mexico's Taos Writers' Conference, the Block Island Poetry Project, and elsewhere.
