The Accademia Europea di Firenze is one of the fastest growing schools in Florence. The staff will welcome you and take care of any arrangements you may need to make your stay the most enjoyable and comfortable possible. The school is only a short walk away from the most important museums and the city often holds important art exhibits, every week there are dozens of exposes to choose from. In the watercolor course students will be taught a variety of techniques in order for them to achieve their goals with their painting and be able to transfer to the canvas of faithful copy of what they have pictured in their minds.
After having studied the basic notions of color theory and the techniques of form and content, transparency and opacity through the "language" of figurative painting, the students will begin to paint on paper. A portion of the lessons, can take place outside of the classroom, in order to use the landscapes of the squares, streets, monuments and hillsides of Florence to their fullest. Visits to museums and art exhibits considered useful to course may also be scheduled. Techniques will be taught gradually with a hands-on approach.
