The AEF’s cooking course in Florence is designed to immerse you in Florence’s culture and lifestyle and teach you how to make authentic Italian dishes with a completely hands-on approach which enables you to make delicious multi-course Italian meals covering all the basic Italian cooking techniques, from pasta to meats, from drinks to desserts. Our Italian Cuisine course is designed for professionals in this sector, as well as for all lovers of good food. The lessons are offered by one of the best chefs in the Tuscan region. Students will prepare a complete menu in every class with a first course, second course and desserts. The Mediterranean Diet, considered to be one of the healthiest and most economical in the world, has, of course, its secrets. A professional chef will explain the alchemy behind the flavors that make up the most famous and traditional Italian dishes-everything from pizza and lasagna to Escalopes of Veal with Marsala to Tiramisu! Special attention will be given to the regional cuisine of Tuscany, as well as to choosing menus that are appropriate for each season and occasion.
