This course combines the work of three experts in their own creative fields - yoga, drama and creative writing - under the direction of an experienced psychotherapist - to work with you in building a repertoire of creative ways to manage stress. Working through physical and creative processes to build stress-resistance and release tension, these four teachers will work with you to discover creative expression for your own experiences.
This will involved four half-day sessions:
- One with the therapist, Valerie Wistreich, an expert in PTSD, examining the causes of stress, and options for managing it, and how it can be explored in disussion.
- One with the creative writing teacher, Tina Pisco, who specialises in unlocking creativity through writing.
- One with acting teacher, Marcus Bale who works with groups in improvisation and expressive acting techniques.
- One with yoga teacher and expert in Astanga and Hatha yogo techniques, Libby Wakely.
Note: The course runs on Saturday and Sunday from 10-5pm and home-cooked lunches are provided each day between 1 and 2pm.
