Home of the World Windsurfing Championships and voted the Best place to learn to windsurf in Europe is Costa Teguise - Lanzarote. The naturally sheltered bay of Las Cucharas Beach provides the ideal environment and Laurent's team provide the perfect atmosphere in which to learn or improve your windsurfing. We have some ideal windsurfing courses which offer enough windsurfing to let loose and go crazy and still have time to enjoy some of the other activities on offer or simply chill out.

What makes it a real holiday is the lovely hotel you'll be staying in with a fantastic hot buffet dinner to look forward to every evening and hot buffet breakfast every morning before you hit the water. Plus of course you will be windsurfing in the beautiful sunshine thanks to the famous Lanzarote year round climate. Our windsurf school is located in 'Las Cucharas' on Lanzarote's east coast in Costa Teguise. Costa Teguise is a fun vibrant town, with great nightlife for those seeking the bars in the evening. You'll find the town is a mecca for windsurfers and scuba divers with a few families.

First timers/improvers: Las Cucharas in Costa Teguise has a naturally sheltered bay absolutely ideal for beginners and less experienced windsurfers to enjoy learning or improving their windsurfing skills. What's more, your hotel is only 50 metres from the beach for when you've had enough for the day. You can try windsurfing as part of a multi activity package or as a complete windsurfing holiday.

Intermediate/Experienced: Lanzarote isn't home to the PWA Freestyle & Super X Grand Slam for nothing. When those trade winds get going you're in for some incredible windsurfing. We run advanced windsurfing classes all year round and you'll only be riding with the best kit. We've concentrated on all the details so all you have to do is get the time off work.
