General objective: To carry out simple conversations on family aspects and understand the culture
Specific objective: To understand the basic situations and to act with trust in different environments to elaborate short sentences.
Contents: Indicative Mood, Comparative, Imperative, Complements and Pronouns. General vocabulary
Methodology: Deductive, inductive and Communicative
Evaluation: Exam at the end of the course

Course 2 - Intensive
Duration: 2-4 weeks
Lessons: 30 lessons per week
Description: Students will be able to practice basic structures and improve their linguistic competence
General objective: Students will be able to communicate in common situations and maintain conversations on topics about culture and society.
Specific objective: Narrate and describe in different tenses, elaborate, connect sentences and understand small paragraphs, speak with spontaneity in informal social situations, improve the quantity and quality of the language
Contents: Tenses like: Indicative mood, prepositions, study the verb to be “ser“ and "estar", comparative, imperative, periphrasis, complements and pronouns, general vocabulary
Methodology: Deductive and inductive, focusing on verbal communication
Evaluation: Final test
Start: Every Monday.
Methodology of the professional teachers. It is based on the practice and learning of the grammar rules and vocabulary in an inductive and deductive way. It is also based on the notional-functional methodologies which use audiovisual means that make easy the comprehension at the moment of communication.
The communicative methodology is used to reinforce the language ability through the activities that teachers propose either inside or outside the classrooms. The tasks approach in the grammar content of a program is practiced through a variety of activities in which the interaction is emphasized. Please, students must to be at the Academy at 8:15 in the morning at their first day of class. Classes start in the morning at 8:30 and in the afternoon at 13:00, with a break from 10:30 to 11:00 and from 15:00 to 15:30
Tutor, cooking, dancing, Instead of taking classes inside the academy, student can go out to visit some places in Quito in order to do a Spanish practice. It could be done once a week. Students pay for transportation and entrance for themselves.
The Academy has a building with garden and barbecue in the best location in modern Quito, Ecuador. Apart from the classrooms, the school has a video room, a small library, a bar area for breaks, an in-house travel agency and last but not least our Cabaña Suiza, a restaurant-bar with cultural events.
