Keats School aims to provide intensive short-term Chinese language instruction to overseas students. Our teachers all received professional training in the teaching of Chinese as second language at Beijing Language University. We use teaching material which is published by Beijing Language University Press. In order to meet the needs of students at different stages of Chinese language learning, we offer one to one education. We use versatile methods and a variety of activities to teach Mandarin. After the courses, students will be able to speak freely with local Chinese.
The program fee covers everything such as tuition, accommodation, meals, Internet, laundry, teaching materials, placement test Accident Insurance and so on, 24-hour support and assistance from our friendly, English-speaking staff. So, once you enroll with Kuming Keats School you will have no other worries or concerns. Situated near one of Kunming’s central business districts on bustling Dongfeng Road, Kunming Keats School is a short walk away from restaurants (Chinese and Western), cafes, bars and massage. The rest of the city’s hot spots are but a bus or cab ride away.
Faculty Information:
Textbooks are provided by Beijing Language University. Aside from general Chinese lessons, there are also more focused Chinese lessons available including business Chinese, traveling Chinese and medical Chinese. Our teachers are trained professionally. They speak standard Mandarin Chinese and fluent English. They are friendly and patient. They have their own teaching method and experience that leave our students highly satisfied. Our teachers are not only your teachers but also your friends.
Other Activities:
Students will visit the places of interest around Kunming or taste Chinese food in spare time. We provide eight hours of Chinese culture lessons each week. Learn about Chinese painting and Beijing opera. Regardless of how long you study, you will learn about one of the world’s richest cultures and oldest civilizations.
Facility Information:
Our school provides comfortable single rooms for student individual requirements. The school and the students’ apartment are in one building. Our school is just like a big family. If you choose to come here to study, you would be a member of the family. Don’t worry about the foreign, strange country and totally different language. We will provide total care for your academic and living conditions.
