Our “Kids in the Kitchen” series is a hands-on experience designed for children ages six to thirteen.
The classes encourage creativity, interaction and, above all, fun. Using child-friendly recipes and a little guidance from our staff, our youthful participants build their confidence by preparing a meal by and for themselves.
Colorful place settings and aprons make each child feel like an authentic chef. This event is ideal for groups of friends and for making new ones, too. Families are also welcome!
Class sizes are limited. Only 13 spaces are left.
Faculty Information:
CIA-trained Chef John Klonowski is the Director of the Cooking School of Aspen. We recruit and host chefs and instructors from throughout the country to share their talents and skills with our students and guests.
Other Activities:
Private workshops and dinners with both staff and visiting chefs are available.
Facility Information:
Conveniently located in downtown Aspen, the facility offers state of the art appliances and culinary tools. The adjacent fine food market allows us to incorporate extraordinary, unique products into our courses and chef's table dinners.
