The Medieval Adventure Workshop is a great opportunity to paint on location in a Medieval Town untainted by mass tourism. The Medieval Town of Fondi is midway between Rome and Naples along the famous Appian Way. Fondi is located 10 to 15-min to beautiful beaches on the Mediterranean Coast, and Fondi has many neighboring Medieval Hilltop Villages.
Paint amazing Italian landscapes, olive groves, vineyards, palazzos, cathedrals, castle, ruins, outdoor cafes, fruit and vegetable markets, Mediterranean seascapes, and everyday life scenes in a small Medieval Town.
We will be staying in a Palazzo-Hostel that was built on Roman Walls along the ancient Appian Way in the Historical Center.
There is a Plein Air Painting 8-Day Workshop prior in the Italian Riviera, March 2008. Experience true Medieval Easter Traditions in a Medieval Village with choir, chants, torches and processions.
