Alison Ospina is a professional chair maker and experienced teacher specializes in using locally coppiced hazel wood to design and make her own very individual chairs. She is passionate about her craft and enjoys passing on the "lore" to anybody wishing to learn.

You can design and make a chair on a 3 day course or make stools and small tables on a 1 day course.
After a 3 day course students will have designed and made a full size arm chair to take home. On a 1 day course students will have designed and made a stool or small table to take home.
All students will be provided with a light lunch and refreshments at the Green Wood Chairs studio.
Purpose built timber workshop large enough to cater comfortably for 2 students. All equipment and materials supplied. Separate studio/gallery of finished chairs for sale with area for students to have lunch, rest, relax and warm up by the wood burning stove if necessary!

When booking a course, a deposit of 50 Euro is required to confirm attendance. When vouchers are purchased, the full cost of the course is required and dates can be arranged subsequently.
