The Brazilian Educational Soccer Clinic is the first level in the Player’s Cycle of Education. The clinic is recommended to any team interested in learning the Brazilian soccer philosophy. This program consists of 12 hours of education divided into three (Friday to Sunday) or four (Monday to Thursday) days at the team’s location.
For the last fourteen years, BFUT’s staff has been studying, analyzing and implementing clinics through out the world. In this program, BFUT incorporates the six principles of the Brazilian soccer (planning, behavior, tactical, technical, psychomotor system, and emotional) with different North American educational concepts.
The major goals to accomplish in this program:
* Introduce the necessary concepts to plan a soccer season.
* Analyze each player’s lower and global body coordination, technical skills and speed of thought to establish necessary procedures for group development.
* Learn to make necessary adjustments during the match (read the game).
* Develop the player’s conditioning abilities (psycho-motor system) towards any game situation.
* Introduce the technical development steps in Brazilian soccer.
* Implement the following tactical concepts: four basic aspects of Brazilian soccer, types of pressure, inside and outside penetration, and compactness.
