Program Schedule:
Day 1, Saturday: Arrival to your Cuernavaca Home stay.
Day 2, Sunday: Free day to spend with your host family or optional All day excursion (not included).
Day 3, Monday:
- 8:00 Placement test and Oral interview to set course program.
- 9:00 – 15:00 Spanish and culture classes.
Days 4 - 7, Thursday - Friday:
- 9:00 – 15:00 Spanish and culture classes.
Day 8, Saturday: Free day.
Day 9, Sunday: Optional all day excursion (not included).
Days 10 - 13, Monday - Thursday:
- 9:00 – 15:00 Spanish and culture classes.
Day 14, Friday:
- 8:00 Departure from Aztlan Spanish School.
- 6:00 Estimated arrival time. Hotel check in and free time.
Day 15, Saturday:
- 10:00 Tour to Monte Alban and San Bartolo Coyotepec. It is a local town where black pottery is made by local artisans, who produce extraordinary beautiful items using openwork and polishing techniques.
- 3:00 Lunch in local restaurant.
- 5:00 Returning to hotel and free time.
Day 16, Sunday:
- 9:00 Tour to Santa María El Tule, a huge ahuehuete cypress called "El Árbol del Tule". 40 meters high with a diameter of 52.58 meters, it weights around 509 tons and is approximately 2000 years old. Teotitlán del Valle is the town where woolen rugs are made on domestic looms. Artisans use natural dyes such as indigo, moss and grana cochinilla. An unforgettable experience!. Mitla, which means "Place of the Dead" in Nahuatl. On the way to Mitla, we will visit a typical Mescal refinery. Santo Domingo convent, where we will visit the treasures of tomb 7 from Monte Alban.
Day 17, Monday:
- 8:30 Hotel check out and departure to Guelaguetza festival.
- 3:00 Departure to Cuernavaca.
- 8:30 Estimated arrival time.
Faculty Information:
Our staff is comprised of native Spanish Teachers, trained in the most advanced communicative methods of teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Every teacher boasts an impressive curriculum vitae with many years of teaching experience. Our Director, Mr. Victor Alcazar, is one of the first Language Educators in Cuernavaca and is one of the founding members of the Second Language Teaching Association in the city. He is very recognized for having set very high standards for Language institutions in Cuernavaca, Mexico.
Other Activities:
There are many opportunities here to experience unforgettable moments. Adventure, culture, nature and sport combine with multiple attractive locations to take part in the various activities. The only limit is your imagination.

Main attractions are located within walking distance from our campus: The Cathedral, Borda Gardens, Cortes Palace, Brady Museum, etc. A Golf course, supermarket and restaurants surround our campus.
Our school is located downtown on a lovely, spacious campus consisting of several colonial homes with beautiful gardens, pools, a computer center, WI-FI, and cafeteria. Classes are held in small groups with no more than five students in class and some of them may take place on quiet outdoor terraces in the shadow of lovely trees with a gorgeous view of an impressive ravine in which you'll be able to enjoy the surrounding nature.
