Your Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive in Portland, Maine and be escorted to Castine by Nina Fuller, located on a peninsula with spectacular views of the ocean.

Day 2–3: Wake to the most beautiful light in the country. There will be reviews of portfolios and camera equipment. You will hike some coastal trails, photographing and discussing along the way. After lunch you will explore the beautiful coastal town of Castine, with a visit to the lighthouse, and if in dock, tour of the Maine Maritime ship. Enjoy photographing lobster men, birds, boats and landscapes. Free time to shop and explore. Visit a local stable and have the option to stop for anything interesting along the way. There will be the opportunity to ride and also to photograph riders. Hike to the top of Great Pond Mountain with spectacular views over the ocean on one side and the lake on the other, with the warm last rays of the sun falling below the horizon.

Day 4: Today you will revisit your most favorite spots and find some new ones. A discussion of what you have learned and what you need to work on and practice will also be offered. This is a great chance to review and to get any last minute technique questions answered. Tonight is your last night and you will end with a traditional lobster dinner, which may have been caught by the same lobster men you photographed on your trip.

Day 5: After breakfast, independent transfer or return to Portland with Nina.
