This course is designed especially for the more mature student. The minimum age for students on the English and Culture course is 40 years old. Students should already be at a Higher Intermediate level or better of English. You will learn a combination of social English, communication skills and vocabulary related to the excursions: culture and customs, etiquette and behavior, the British class system, art, architecture, gardens and garden history, music, food and drink.
English and Culture you will combine work on the English language with the study of British culture and customs. Students go on 1 full-day excursion and 6 half-day excursions. Excursions in the afternoon may include English stately homes and castles, gardens, museums, galleries and other places of cultural interest. These are chosen by the group and give you a chance to practice what you learn in the morning English classes.

Established in 1964 in Wimbledon in the South West of London, Wimbledon School of English teaches up to 240 Students at any one time and has a wide range of courses.
