These courses are organized around the student's availability, with a choice of intensive courses or lessons spread over time. The goal of the courses for companies organized by the school is to give foreigners working in a corporate context the chance to develop or reinforce their ability to use the Italian language, both as a fundamental tool for work and as an indispensable means of communicating and socializing.
This is the first step toward understanding the precise needs of the company and the student. An initial meeting with a company representative serves to define the business- linguistic and sectoral needs; a second meeting with the student evaluates his or her level and establishes the program for the course.
- 60 hours of individual lessons permit the beginner student to communicate on an everyday level.
- 120 hours of lessons allow the student to perform his or her job in an efficient manner.
Once the student's actual needs are defined, the structure and scheduling of the course can be decided, choosing from the following types of courses: we offer a free test to determine a student's level and to get a clear idea of his or her precise needs. It can be arranged at whatever time is convenient for the student. After this first meeting, our school will be pleased to offer you a trial lesson free of charge. That way you can evaluate how we teach Italian and above all, how we teach it to prepare people for working in Italy.
Faculty Information:
Our Italian Language School and Culture Center for Foreigners, was founded in 1986, in Milan. It quickly became a fundamental point of reference for foreigners needing to make a smooth adjustment to life in an Italian city. From the outset, the founders chose to teach only Italian language. The school’s staff is specialized in this area, and teaching methods, materials and learning challenges are constantly examined in the search of continuous improvement.
Other Activities:
Every month our school organizes extracurricular activities for its students, as opportunities to improve their knowledge of culture and Italian language. School on those occasions becomes a meeting point for all the students of different classes. You can participate in a phonetics course or to a special advanced course where you can learn to perfect language structures and typical Italian figures of speech.
We also lead guided visits to cultural venues in Milan. In addition we organize: treasure hunts in the charming Brera district (with valuable prices), writing classes and newspaper reading lessons. Once a month we offer a lunch to introduce the students the regional specialties of the Italian cuisine.
Facility Information:
It’s a free service offered by our school. We provide accommodations chosen out f a selection of apartments in Milan, well connected to the 3 lines of the metro and the public transports and only max. 30 minutes away from the school:
- Single room with use of bath and kitchen from 500,00 euro per month
- Double room from 350,00 euro
- Studio apartment from 700,00 euro
The fee is to be paid directly to the owner by 3 days within the arrival at Milan. Upon request of the student of our school provides also a list of:
- Rooms in B and B euro per month
- Pensions
- Hotels
- Residences.
