The secret of Thai food lies in the proportions of ingredient used. The Thai cuisine is founded on simple ingredients of excellent quality. Fresh fish and seafood from sea, aromatic herbs and spices and locally grown vegetables and fruits that are important wonderful components used for all dishes.
You will learn how to select the freshest ingredients, prepare all components and make taste suitable for all. If you thing that Thai food is too spicy you can always adjust the taste and get balance that you like. Thai cooking is a source of proud and wonder. Thai cook always strive for a balance of flavor, texture and color in a dish. Each region of Thailand has its own specialties but there are common flavoring and techniques that are used throughout the country, creating one of the best world cuisines.
Menus are innovative, healthy and delicious. Our chefs believe that the only way to learn to cook is to do it yourself. While they will demonstrate the techniques, be prepared to roll up your sleeves and put what you have seen into practice. The lessons are informal and the chefs are flexible and willing to add those special dishes you always wanted to learn to make. You can have cooking lessons of one day or 1 week class with enough time to relax and enjoy the surroundings or to do some sight seeing in the area.

Your Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive at Ranong airport. Transfer to Ko Payam island Buffalo Bay Vacation Club. Relaxing Thai Massage and tropic fruits on arrival. Gastronomic dinner at the hotel.
Day 2: Half day cooking class.
Day 3: Half day cooking class.
Day 4: Half day cooking class.
Day 5: Half day cooking class.
Day 6: Half day cooking class.
Day 7: Departure and transfer to airport or continue to stay in resort.
Faculty Information:
The Thai cooking school is run by Ms. Samewang and Mr. Dmitri Sokolov in Buffalo Bay Vacation Club, Ko Phayam island, Thailand. The lessons are given in English and for the Thai cookery course you will learn how to make famous Thai dishes and you can also learn to make dishes not only from Thailand but from other countries like Burma, Malaysia and China.
