This workshop will be taught by Gerry Thompson. Each day a topic will be covered, accompanied by a demo and detailed notes on that theme. Gerry will demonstrate her step-by-step method of glazing techniques. Subjects that will be covered are: water and reflections, florals, shadow colors, and greens found in nature. When painting indoors participants will be painting from their own photographs (non-published) of any subject that they choose. Artists are encouraged to paint in their chosen style, whether it is representational or abstract. Plan on having a fun-filled, positive, action-packed time.

"Subjects that inspire Gerry usually have one or more of the following attributes: strong contrast between light and shadow, combinations of natural and artificial light, unique textures, close-up perspectives, or interesting color combinations. Within that context she paints the world around her as she sees it at that particular time in her life. Gerry is an experienced and popular workshop instructor both in her local area and in locations abroad. Many of her students have gone on to have successful art careers of their own. Her paintings are found in collections throughout the world."
