Your Itinerary:
Day 1: Saturday. Depart from New York. Own transportation to New York JFK Airport. Take the Turkish Airlines TK 2 non-stop 17:30 flight to Istanbul.
Day 2: Sunday. Arrive Istanbul. Take the connection flight to Adana. Arrive Istanbul Airport at 10:25 am. Take the connection flight to Adana. Arrive Adana Airport. Our representative will meet you after the customs and baggage claim. Meet and transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight. Includes: (D).
Day 3: Monday. Antioch-Adana. Full day tour to Antioch. Visit St. Peter's Church and the Mosaic Museum. Return to Adana. Dinner at the hotel. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 4: Tuesday. Adana-Tarsus-Cappadocia. Drive to Tarsus, the birthplace of St. Paul. Visit the new St. Paul Church and Paul's Well. Continue to Cappadocia, the land of the fairy chimneys and rock churches of the 10th century. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 5: Wednesday. Cappadocia. Full day sightseeing in Cappadocia; visit the Underground city, Göreme Open Air Museum with painted rock churches, the pottery making town of Avanos and the citadel of Uchisar. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 6: Thursday. Cappadocia-Lystra-Iconium (Konya). Visit the Biblical site of Lystra. Then drive to Iconium, today's Konya to visit the Mevlana Mausoleum. Overnight in Konya. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 7: Friday. Iconium-Colossae-Laodicea-Pamukkale. Drive to unexcavated site of Colossae. Then see the ruins of Laodicea. Continue to Pamukkale for dinner and overnight. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 8: Saturday. Philadelphia-Sardis-Smyrna (Izmir). Drive to Alasehir to see the 1st century Philadelphia Church. Then visit Sardis; the Gymnasium, the 3rd century Synagogue, the Temple of Diana and the remains of the 1st century Church. Drive to Smyrna for dinner and overnight in Izmir. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 9: Sunday. Join the Ephesus Meeting-Kusadasi. Full day tour in Ephesus. Visit the famous ancient city, the Basilica of St. John and the Archaeological Museum. Dinner at the hotel. Join the Ephesus Meeting in the evening. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 10: Monday. Pergamon-Thyatira-Ayvalik. Drive North to Pergamon. Visit the Acropolis and the remaining of the 1st century Church called Red Basilica. Continue to Akhisar to see the 1st century Thyatira Church. Drive to Ayvalik for dinner and overnight. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 11: Tuesday. Alexander Troas-Assos-Troy-Canakkale. Visit Alexander Troas to see only few stones covered by water today. Then visit Assos. Continue to Troy to see the ruins of the legendary city and the replica of the wooden horse. Dinner and overnight in Çanakkale. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 12: Wednesday. Çanakkale-Dardanelles-Istanbul. Take the car ferry to cross the Dardanelles strait. Drive to Istanbul. Visit St. Chora Church, famous for its beautiful mosaics in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 13: Thursday. Istanbul. Visit the Hippodrome Square, Blue Mosque (optional), St. Sophia Church, Underground Cistern Basilica and Grand Covered Bazaar. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 14: Friday. Istanbul. Take a leisurely private boat tour along the Bosphorus seeing both Asian and European shores of Istanbul. Then visit the Topkapi Palace and the important Istanbul Archaeological Museum containing the Gezer Calender, the Titus Inscriptions, city walls from Babylon, and other important items. Return to the hotel. Tonight, we will have a Farewell Dinner at an outside Sea Food Restaurant in Kumkapi district. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 15: Saturday. Departure. Transfer to Istanbul Airport for departure. Fly back to New York JFK Airport via Istanbul. Arrive New York same day afternoon. End of our services. Includes: (B).
