Our tours welcome individual travelers as well as offering generous "tour leader" benefits. We have been visiting the Holyland since 1968 and are registered as a Seller of Travel in Washington. We offer two ESCORTED tours to Israel each year. Many with optional extensions such as; Rome, Petra, Egypt, Athens, Turkey and more.
Your Itinerary:
DAY 1 - - NEW YORK / ISTANBUL Monday, October 18, 2010
Tour members are welcomed this evening at JFK International Airport, departing on Turkish Airlines via widebody aircraft arriving in Istanbul the next day. Meals served on board.
DAY 2 - - ISTANBUL / TEL AVIV / TIBERIAS Tuesday Oct 19, 2010
Upon arrival in Tel Aviv we are met by our guide who will be with us for the time we are in the Holy Land. Board our bus and travel up the coast and go to the famous Sea of Galilee where we check into our hotel for dinner and overnight. (D)
DAY 3 -- TIBERIAS / BET SHEAN / SEA OF GALILEE / TIBERIAS Wed 20th
This morning we visit Bet Shean at the foot of Mt. Gilboa, where King Saul was slain, see the evidences of Egyptian, Roman and Byzantine occupations, and view the ancient tel, Roman Theater and church mosaics. In the afternoon we enjoy a relaxing boat ride on the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum, then visit the Mount of Beatitudes. Our last stop today will be at the River Jordan where those that wish may be Baptized in or renew their Baptismal vows. Then transfer to the hotel in Tiberias for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4 -- TIBERIAS / CAESAREA / JERUSALEM Thursday, October 21, 2010 On the way to Nazareth we pass Cana where Jesus performed His first miracle, then proceed across the Plain of Jezreel to Megiddo to visit the excavations of over 20 different civilizations. Visit Muhraka on Mount Carmel. From here we have a view of the Valley of Armageddon and Nazareth. In the afternoon we visit Caesarea on the Mediterranean, the Roman aqueduct and port, Crusader's Moat, and the famous Roman Theater. Proceed by way of the Aijalon Valley to Jerusalem for check-in and dinner at our hotel.

DAY 5 -- JERUSALEM / BETHLEHEM / OPTIONAL FREE DAY OR HOLOCAUST MUSEUM Friday October 22,2010
This morning we visit Bethlehem and see Church of the Nativity and the Manger. This afternoon you will have Free Time to shop, or, for those that wish, to visit Yad Vashem, a memorial of the Holocaust before returning to the hotel for dinner.

DAY 6 -- JERUSALEM / MT. OF OLIVES / OLD CITY Saturday Oct 23rd, 2009
Today we drive to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of Jerusalem, then proceed to the Garden of Gethsemane. Crossing the Kidron Valley, we pass the tombs of Absalom, Zechariah and St. James, We enter the Old City this afternoon through the Zion Gate and see the Upper Room, the Cardo and the remains of Nehemiah's Wall on the way to the Western (Wailing) Wall. From the Western Wall we see the Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount, Pilate's Judgment Hall, the Chapel of Flagellation, Lithostrotos, and the Arch of Ecce Homo ("Behold the Man"). We follow the Via Dolorosa (Way of the Cross) and end our day in the Garden Tomb before returning to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 7 - JERUSALEM / QUMRAN / DEAD SEA (Sunday, October 24, 2010) We visit Qumran and see the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. At Qumran we will see the remains of storehouses, cisterns and a sixth-century Byzantine church. Continuing to visit the Dead Sea, 1300 ft. below sea level -- the lowest spot on earth – (Time permitting those that wish can float in the water. On the way back to Jerusalem we travel past Jericho, the world's oldest city. (B) (D)
DAY 8 - - JERUSALEM / ISTANBUL / HOME… (Monday, October 25, 2010)
This morning we transfer to the airport for our flight to Turkey. Upon our arrival in Istanbul we change planes to N.Y. Or take an optional tour of Turkey where the 7 Churches of Revelation were found..
