Come with me to the hidden sacred sites of our past. Places of ancestral worship and power. Touch, feel and see these ancient structures, allow yourself to be transported to a time far removed from the twenty first century.
For a day travel through Aberdeenshires varied and beautiful Scottish landscape. From the rugged desolate peaks of Bronze Age Hill forts to the gently rolling pastureland that supports the Sacred Stone Circles. Experience the unique 'recumbent' stone circles only found in Aberdeenshire and no where else in Britain.
Who were the people who made them? Where did these people come from? What do the symbols on the Pictish symbol stones mean? Close your eyes, breath deeply and touch the stones. Feel their presence and let them whisper to you their knowledge of the past and maybe the future. There is no substitute for experiencing something for yourself.
All tours require you to wear comfortable clothing, sensible (water resistant if possible) footwear and as we are in Scotland rain/wind proof jackets etc. Depending on the weather and your level of fitness we shall climb up to one of the Hill Forts (Barra, Mither Tap of Benachie, Dunnideer or Tap O'Noth).
Lunch is not provided so you are welcome to bring a small 'packed lunch'. However we will be stopping for lunch at a local hotel, pub or visitor attraction center so please bring appropriate spending money. We shall also go to the excellent Archaeolink Prehistory Park (Closed in Winter). Your entry fee is included in the tour price.
All tours are now for private groups only and need to be pre-booked ahead of your visit. If you would only like to visit stone circles etc.I will try and tailor your tour to your specific desires.You can spend as much or as little time in each of these sacred spaces as you require! It is your day!

If the group are one or two people the cost is £85 for the day. Otherwise for groups of 3 and more it is £30 per person. A £60 pre booking deposit is required via Pay Pal facility on the website. The balance is payable on the day.
