Hi Jason!
It's been long since I last read such an insightful and informative article. Now, the only thing I didn't quite catch what was the deal with the taxi fare. The ride actually costs 10 euros and the drivers ask 30 for it?
And, you also mentioned at the end that you wouldn't return to Belgrade in the near future. Is there any other city in the Balkans that enchanted you more? |

Hey..
ohh im from there.. but there is a better place to visit then Belgrade. the place is called Novi Sad its really close to belgrade and there are heaps of tourist attractions;) |

hi! you've made a great choice going to Belgrade it is a very beautiful place and i take every opportunity to go there it's exiting beautiful and heaps of stuff to explore find out and to do!!! |

Hi,
Thanks for the comments about my trip to Belgrade.
Roxy, the airport taxi drivers will try to overcharge people. They will try (and get) 30 Euros even though it should only cost 10 Euros. They can do this because people haven't ordered an official taxi or can't be bothered waiting for the next bus.
Also, the reason I wouldn't want to go back to Belgrade is not because of the city itself, rather I don't like going back to somewhere I've already been. Put simply, I'd rather try somewhere new. Having said that, I did really enjoy Sarajevo. You can read it on this site or on a link from my Belgrade site. And I did rather like Sofia too. |
