Nice story - not completely wrong.
Although i doubt if the visitor has seen ALL of Amsterdam.
The comment "it could be any british city" is a bit off, as Amsterdam doesn`t have power and phone cables hanging visibly everywhere - as seems the standard in many of the UK cities.
I`m in total agreement with the massive groups that are actually a downside to the city.
Also the fact that things get more and more expensive is true - mainly due to taxes and then more taxes.
But - all in all, i`ve seen worse comments about Amsterdam - and some from people who haven`t even been there. |
