| I had NO idea this eastern European city was founded by the Vikings. I’m talking about Kiev, or Kyiv, or Kijev, or Kiew, or Kijóv – you name it, the capital of Ukraine. I found this article very informative, taking the main attractions of the city and briefly describing them from a traveler’s perspective. And the pictures are great too!

Oh, the pictures are great of course. And the architecture is spectacular, but incomparable to seeing it for real... I like architecture and everything 3D. That's why probably pics and paintings don't impress me too much. But still... it makes you want and see it for real. |
