| Climbing in New Zealand |
| Submitted by cleo on 2006-11-10 03:28:29 (via www.gdargaud.net) |
| Incredible! These guys are truly extreme adventurers: long and diversified trips, climbing the rocky Elie de Baumont and Malte Brun and then the scenic route to the top of the icy Mt. Cook. Alongside, strange spherical formations, obnoxious keas rock attacks, sharks and whales and finally the Mt. Tasman. This is worth reading.

SOund like a long hike like Frodo's hike to Mount Doom ;o) moreover, that was filmed in New Zealand BTW.
I would love to go mountain climbing in NZ, but I don't think I would ever risk climbing on the snowy tops - too risky! Maybe, if well prepared and equipped I would think differently, but, still, there are more places I would like to see while alive;o) |
