| Route 66: Travelling the Main Street of America |
| Submitted by traveloscopy on 2008-08-01 18:57:34 (via monolith.com.au) |
Most roads go places; Route 66 just is.
It’s a community. The first mile through downtown Chicago is as much your destination as the last mile to Santa Monica pier.
Route 66 is not about concrete and tarmac, it’s about people - their hopes and dreams, their battles won and lost.
