Germany definitely has some of the best beers in the world and you'll have no problems finding places that serve them (restaurants, supermarkets etc.) I suggest Paulaner and Kostriker beers especially. Yum! |

Well, I'd say that all beer you get in Germany is German. It also depends where you're going: every region, and sometimes every city, has their own brand(s) of beer. Let me know where exactly you will be visiting and I may have some advice for you... |

Hi,
I found a Wikipedia page which has all German beers and in which region they're made:

No, I usually plan my trips myself - read books, look up stuff on the internet... But I can imagine going on an excursion if I would be in a place that I don't know anything about or that might not be completely safe. |

It's supposed to be great. I suggest you take a look at the place via Google Earth, they usually have good pictures; and in general: if you want to see pictures, type in the name of the place + photos and you'll get a lot of them.
I am not the writer of the article, but the editor of the on-line magazine, Off The Beaten Track, that publishes it. |
