| Land of Dracula, it sounds so frightful and magic in the same time! But beside this surreal world, Romania, the origin country of the Count Dracula, is a nice state in the Eastern Europe, with a beautiful landscape and great architecture.

I've seen Bran Castle. It's pretty impressive. I liked climbing the secret stair that went to the upper floor through the fire place. When the enemy was attacking them they would poor hot tar on them from there. Uaaahh! Very clever! |

I'd have to agree with Amber.Climbing the secret stair was fun.Bran is a really old castle : the building began in 1377 and was finished in 1382.
Over the time architectural changes were made that turned it into a summer residence.
On the way to the castle you can stop in Moeciu town to rest and admire the surroundings.
I hope you can get to visit Romania and all it's great places. |
