| Biking Solo from Maine to Pennsylvania |
| Submitted by cleo on 2007-03-02 03:05:09 (via www.icdc.com) |
| This is a great bicycling tour of 827 miles. No parade and no fanfare at the end, “but I didn't need them. What I got instead were the memories of the dozens of kind souls who had poured out their hospitality on me, as I weaved my way in and out of their lives, out on the open road”. Courage and tenacity is required though for such an endeavor.

It's indeed a challenge to have such a trip. Not only that it marks you entire life and change your personaly, by enriching the life experience, but you are now sure that you will have something to tell your grandchildren when they'll be little:) |

Thanks for the compliment. Though I never thought I was very courageous for doing this ride. Foolish perhaps. But it was worth it. |

Hey, don't worry. I've done quite a few crazy things, when traveling. People, looked at me and could not believe it is true. And the trick was, I was not aware of the danger or would not think of what bad could happen. Curiousity took me a long way, but I've heard it also killed the cat. Thank God, I'm still alive:}
So, I appreciate you daring to do it. |
