Visiting Paradise
Submitted by roxy on 2006-11-20 03:37:49 (via
I’ve always wanted to visit a place like this, where it seems like you can’t look anywhere without seeing birds and bumping into exotic animals or "paradise" type beaches you find in movies. The drivers are pretty wild in Costa Rica, but who cares? It’s a stunning place, and no wonder some people never came back after going there as tourists!

If this captures your imagination you should see what we discovered in Fiji. And the Fiji islanders are the friendliest people in the world. Truly a paradise.

Does anybody know what the best month is to visit in terms of avoiding a lot of rain? I know it's tropical and varied, but I heard some parts of the year are best avoided. What are those times to avoid? Thanks!

ok, first of all, i'm from costa rica, exactly from heredia, here in costa rica exist the 4.5% of the whole world biodiversity, so it's pretty cool in that way, the months to avoid are between august and october, specially october it's the month that rains the most.

Well, after reaading this article about Costa Rica, I say it is true, in all it´s extensions...

I´ve lived here all my life and it´s beautiful... you can find all kind of beaches travelling only from 2 to 4 hours and there´s a lot of places where you can find different fauna.

The only not so good looking place is San Jose Downtown, the Capital City, ´cause it looks almost like Miami Downtown, too many buildings and lots of cars, but drive 1 hour and you´ll find the most gorgeous landscapes and views of mountains and valleys, no matter where you go... If you decide, come and enjoy!
