| Portugal – December 2005 |

| Lisbon can indeed maintain the chic of a very modern artsy city with the reminiscences of the trendy old Arab and the grandeur of the imperialistic style. You can witness this by visiting the Praça do Comércio with the Arco da Rua Augusta in December, where a giant Christmas tree is installed. It’s indeed a fairy atmosphere.

I adore the mix of old and new architecture in the European cities. It is like developing a new culture without ignoring the elements of the old culture.
I loved the Christmas tree in Lisbon, it is maybe because I have never seen such a great one.
Maybe it is not the case, in the "middle of summer" to ask, but where was located the most magnificent Christmas tree that you have ever seen? |

I travelled in Lisboa many times. The sights that have been discussed in this article are wonderful. My husband and I toured Lisboa on foot with the help of the subway. It is a terrific way to discover the sights of Lisboa. |
