The Way of St. James
Submitted by cmaingue on 2007-06-15 11:53:56 (via www.circatours.com)
As you cross northern Spain, you encounter a continuous stream of pilgrims along El Camino de Santiago (Spanish for "the Road to Santiago"). By following the route you will participate in a centuries-old religious tradition. But even if you’re not motivated by the religious aspect, the area offers history, heritage, art, wine, cuisine, and more.

I really enjoyed this article, as much as I like the Spanish land itself. Spain has a lot to offer and it is a real piece of heaven for tourists. You have spoken about your trip with so much enthusiasm, that I can not help asking whether it was a spiritually intended journey or a simple tourist activity?

The indulgences... super size big...? That's ridiculous! Is it another way of making money?

Hey, what are you doing? Oh, I'm in the indulgence business...

Gggggg! But it has always been since the Catholic church exists, hasn't it?

well.. yes
with the slight difference that now nobody's really constrained to undertake that journey or to get the indulgence by other means. I'm happy with that - at least one privilege brought to us by the social progress.
If it's a super-size big indulgence, will the priest help get away with murder?
