| Toilets flush counterclockwise in Timbuktu |
| Submitted by pablo on 2006-11-28 03:15:00 (via www.stat.duke.edu) |
| Did you hear about that? Toilets flush counterclockwise in West Africa. It’s worth reading the travelogue of such a great observer! Oh, this observer also caught some virus and there’s a very funny picture showing his body’s contour on the bed, made out of sweat. I have to say that for a second, I thought it’s something else... Funny article again!

Drinking how tap water with salt added... and being somewhere in Africa, feeling miserable, maybe infected with malarya... fun for a change as long as this is not the normal course of life... but how horrible if that is a risc natives run everyday, due to malnourishment, antisanitary conditions and poor economy? |
