| Nomads Of Ararat - Return To The Mountain |
| Submitted by Anonymous on 2007-07-23 17:02:44 (via polosbastards.com) |
| A wonderful article about a race of semi-nomadic folk, who live around the slopes of the biblical Mount Ararat, in East Turkey. I find it amazing that such people and their traditional existences can be found in such touristy places as Turkey, and yet remain so totally invisible to anybody that doesn't go right out of their way to look closer.

It's so unusual to hear about nomad tribes while we live like this in developed countries. Don't they even have radios? and what if someone is really ill? I doubt they take him to the hospital... |
