| Northern Finland is a place where reindeer herds thrive and traditional Lapland costume is elfish in color and design. Everybody is welcome to start believing again in the existence of Santa Claus, to eat in an igloo, to snowmobile and to enjoy the Finnish sense of humor. Have an urge to cross the Arctic Circle? Do it in Finland.

| Prague is a spectacular highlight of any European trip. Although some of its attractions as the famous astronomical clock and Prague castle are worldwide renowned, there is still much left to be discovered along the city's medieval cobbled streets. Prague's charms can be hardly resisted and one will be determined to return again and again.

| Cyprus has been especially significant as the crossroads of European history. Myth and fact weave and intertwine in its history and one can easily find scenes that would, at least for the moment, make its mythology seem perfectly feasible. But there is more to fascinate the visitor than just history, the sunny Cyprus has something for everyone.

| Bosnia is more than a rugged country. It’s a way of life that demands extreme outdoor sports. For the author, her unintended first-ever whitewater adventure resulted in waiting for death's sweet kiss. Hopefully, everyone avoided a sad ending and continued discovering Bosnia - irretrievably scarred by war, but infinitely capable of renewing herself.

| Andorra is said to have some of the most dramatic scenery and best skiing of the Pyrenees and it rarely disappoints. Needless to say that the morning being ideal to hit the slopes leaves the afternoons free for a range of inebriating activities. Beware - it is a tax free country and one can easily find himself enjoying hangovers in a hospital ward!

| As you cross northern Spain, you encounter a continuous stream of pilgrims along El Camino de Santiago (Spanish for "the Road to Santiago"). By following the route you will participate in a centuries-old religious tradition. But even if you’re not motivated by the religious aspect, the area offers history, heritage, art, wine, cuisine, and more.

| Lisbon can indeed maintain the chic of a very modern artsy city with the reminiscences of the trendy old Arab and the grandeur of the imperialistic style. You can witness this by visiting the Praça do Comércio with the Arco da Rua Augusta in December, where a giant Christmas tree is installed. It’s indeed a fairy atmosphere.

| “Lisbon is very much aware of its own beauty. In every high lying place you find a miradouro with a great view of the city. And there is much to see. Moreover, Lisbon has a lively nightlife with restaurants, cafés and extraordinary old coffeehouses”. The look of the city is defined by trams dating for the XX century, museum pieces themselves.
