| In retrospect it turned out to be the best trip so far… It was better than we could have hoped for. It was the most relaxed time we have ever been in our travels. Cruising on the lakes and rivers was quite different from an ocean cruise. The entertainment was of a higher caliber… It was wonderful!!

| “Tirana is a city of extreme contrasts. A donkey-drawn cart pulls up along side of a top-line Mercedes. A Muslim cleric sings the morning prayers as a spandex-clad woman enjoys her morning run. A cow looks up from grazing to notice a major traffic jam”. Looks like a scene from an Indian movie, while it is a European country we are talking about.

| “You'd need a pretty good map to find Les Bournizeaux. It is near Bergerac, about one and a half hour drive east of Bordeaux.” But the place is terrific, and so are the food and the castles in this area, as well as Les Eyzies-de-Tayac with its cave paintings and Museum of pre-history.

| In Vienna you can run in some pretty out-of-ordinary things, things that will create an uproar in other parts of the world. If you are a chocolate lover this is a dangerous place to be or to live. Soon you may get out of proportions. But back to Vienna – it can impress one a great deal!

| Getting in Italy |

| Traveling through Italy by train… just fast enough to see many cities in a relatively short period of time and slow enough to make an impression of those cities. This way, you can be proud that you may make a difference between 2 different cities like a real expert. After accessing the link, go to "the route" in the left side of the page.

| Faroe Islands - Travelogue |

| “The boat ride was amazing, along towering cliffs crowded with all kinds of birds, and sometimes even a sheep on an apparently unreachable spot of grass. After the tour I started walking up the mountain along the hiking track to Saksun.” I adore this typical landscape of the Faroe Islands. Remote land that offers quiet and relaxation! | ”Situated in the heart of the Gulf Stream in the North Atlantic halfway between Scotland and Iceland, the Faroe Islands are almost unknown part of Europe. Extremely beautiful landscape - that's what attracts here the tourist”. The unknown is always attractive!

| Even though they live in one of the fashion capitals of the world, Parisians themselves don't dress particularly well. For example, one would think that, with their proximity to Italy, they'd have better shoes. Barcelonans are far, far better dressed than Parisians. Even Berliners are better dressed than most Parisians. Must read it!

| Although an enough rough road, the destination was rewarding: spiced and cozy, freshly rolled in cinnamon sugar and simply delicious. Then, followed by a private tour around the winery that produces 2,5 million bottles a year. That is Sicily.
