The "country-ghost", officially recognized only by Russia, Transnistria (Pridnestrovskaya Moldavskaya Republika) has a population of 550.000 people and it’s a big mystery for most of us, because it has no formal relations with any other country, but only with other states self-declared such as South Ossetia or Abkhazia.
