| Relatively unknown to outsiders, there exists a wonder of nature hidden deep within the outskirts of Iba, Zambales. In fact, even most of the inhabitants of Iba are oblivious of the beautiful Twin Waterfalls of Sta. Barbara.

| Clear skies and calm waters made the day ideal for fishing and beach hopping. Waves quietly lapped the shoreline as we pushed the bangka boat into the water, prematurely disturbing the early morning tranquility. After a quick detour to purchase some batteries, I hopped back into the boat, and we took off looking for the perfect beach.

| Before my accident, we were able to go exploring again in northern Zambales. This time, we roamed through the outskirts of San Felipe, the fourth and northernmost San of the consecutive "Four Sans" (San Felipe, San Narciso, San Antonio, San Marcelino). Within the depths of the jungle we hoped to find the little known Anghalo Falls.

| Climbing a long set of stairs that ascends up a mountain in the outskirts of Zambales Philippines takes one to a series of caves collectively known as the Sagrada Familia Caves. It is a tourist spot for avid spelunkers and a popular local attraction especially on Holy Day when many nearby residents climb up to the caves as a form of penitence.

| Stitches out and wound healing, I felt ready to go exploring once more. Hearing about the quiet and beautiful provincial area south of Olongapo and Subic Base convinced me to check the area out. Thus, I decided to head away from the national highway and veer off towards the distant city of Morong in Bataan.

| In the outskirts of Morong exists a small village tucked away in the rolling mountains. Aetas (or Aytas / Kulot) or those with Aeta lineage make up most of the community's population. Apart from them, it is unlikely you will see anyone else journeying up the mountain on a regular basis. But the few who do come closer to another Philippine treasure.
