| Middle East's cultural peculiarity is not only about men showing affection to men. Imagine being detained in Yemen. Knowing their language may enable you to dare hoping for salvation...but this hardly helps and you will end up anyway starving in a dirty cell. I absolutely enjoyed this ironical narrative of 6 hours of suspense and adventures...

| What is the first thing that comes into your mind when you think about Oman? Leave aside the lugubrious thoughts of Al-Qaeda training camps and think about absolutely stunning coastlines, beautiful rugs and amazing rides on dhows, being surrounded by playful dolphins generating awe and amazement...This article is just so inspiring...

| Svalbard Bound |

| “Fewer of my best memories are linked with major tourist destinations”. Svalbard isn't what you'd really call popular. But, hey, who said you can't have fun on the top of the globe? The enthusiasm of the residents and the sensational dogsledding tours can rescue the whole trip. I'd feel proud if I visited a place where few take the challenge to go.

| Slovenia is a cultural crossroads where East Europe meets the West. This makes it perfect for meeting old friends, tasting delicious meals, admiring stunning sceneries and enjoying New Year's Eve. Even if many countries are said to be like this, after reading this article I am inclined to agree Slovenia is special. Still doubt it? Get convinced!

| San Marino: A small republic that said no to Napoleon |

| San Marino is a tiny landlocked republic whose independence has faced many near misses in history. Being totally surrounded by Italian territory, this mini-state does not lack uniqueness, although it is hard to find in its capital city. The non-tourist area is where you can rub elbows with the natives and taste local meals for reasonable prices.

| No matter how exciting trips are, sometimes one feels tired. Locations for vacations from vacations are hard to find, but for those who like surprises Bratislava is the place to go. Its edifices, cobblestone streets and restaurants make it a diamond of the central European rough, especially during Christmas. A day-trip is enough to feel enchanted.

| Climbing a long set of stairs that ascends up a mountain in the outskirts of Zambales Philippines takes one to a series of caves collectively known as the Sagrada Familia Caves. It is a tourist spot for avid spelunkers and a popular local attraction especially on Holy Day when many nearby residents climb up to the caves as a form of penitence.

| Copenhagen has much more to offer to tourists than just Kastellet, the National Museum, the statue of the Little Mermaid or the hippie community of Christiania. Bikes are part of its magic and they really enable visitors to feel the city's pulse. Plus, with a well-developed sense of humor, anyone is granted to experience Denmark at its best.
