Spain, France and Greece
Submitted by kiwi on 2007-05-14 03:49:03 (via www.mindspring.com)
About Spain it’s said to have “the grace of France, the carefree atmosphere of Italy, but its own uniquely Spanish flair.” How beautiful! But this article also talks of France and Greece, highlighting the most special moments one can experience there.

Submitted by Amber on 2007-05-14 03:41:47 (via canadiancarlsons.com)
Did you know that the land tortoise named Harriet that was captured by Charles Darwin in the Galapagos Islands and brought to England in the 1840's is found now in Australia Zoo. Over the past 160 years, she has made her way through various zoos to Australia and is expected to survive for another 80 years or so. Amazing!

Some of India and Nepal
Submitted by kiwi on 2007-05-14 03:33:08 (via www.mindspring.com)
“Most travelers will tell you that they either loved or hated India. While it is admittedly a squalid, crowded, difficult place to travel, it was nevertheless one of the most exotic, colorful, and rewarding parts of my journey.” Short and at the same time highlighting the most worth seeing things, without hiding the reality.

Death Valley is huge, full of remarkable vistas, ghost towns, stunning mountain scenery and extraordinary desert secrets like the mysterious sliding stones of the Racetrack Playa. A road trip here is always an adventure!

Bathrooms Around the World
Submitted by Adele on 2007-05-14 03:16:28 (via www.biz2web.com)
“All of you probably can remember a time when you were desperate for one!” Just as there is a diversity of cultures, so it is with toilets. And it’s quite fascinating to read about it in a first hand account from a couple that have experiences them all.

Vienna
Submitted by kiwi on 2007-05-14 03:13:55 (via www.dickandwitta.com)
In Vienna you can run in some pretty out-of-ordinary things, things that will create an uproar in other parts of the world. If you are a chocolate lover this is a dangerous place to be or to live. Soon you may get out of proportions. But back to Vienna – it can impress one a great deal!   More...

In the Land of Buthan
Submitted by Amber on 2007-05-14 03:10:49 (via www.smallbagbigworld.com)
“Bhutan -- known also as "the land of the thunder dragon," but could just as easily be nicknamed, "land of the howling dogs", "land of the chili pepper", "land of the photo-op", or "land of butter products". We were thrilled to be finally in such a relaxing place.” And reading this I was impressed to learn about the way children behave there.

Hawaii Impressions
Submitted by Adele on 2007-05-14 03:06:07 (via www.biz2web.com)
“Luxurious flowers and tropical trees were everywhere. There was a profusion of color and beauty that filled our senses. Birds of paradise… the flowing palms and the huge banyan trees… volcanic activity… Hawaiian dancing and singing…” That’s Hawaii and this isn’t just a report of what they did, but rather sharing their impression.   More...

Damascus
Submitted by guided on 2007-05-12 01:16:15 (via www.oldworldwandering.com)
It was a crisp, cool morning, and Star Crossed Lovers café – where we had drunk our last chai the night before – was already awake. Wooden tree stumps were laid out in the spreading sunlight and the café’s dwarfish owner, wild curls on his balding head, noticed us immediately.

Getting in Italy
Submitted by bindero on 2007-05-11 05:56:38 (via www.wideweirdworld.com)
Traveling through Italy by train… just fast enough to see many cities in a relatively short period of time and slow enough to make an impression of those cities. This way, you can be proud that you may make a difference between 2 different cities like a real expert. After accessing the link, go to "the route" in the left side of the page.
