Amsterdam
Submitted by roxy on 2007-05-03 10:27:09 (via di-and-cam.travellerspoint.com)
What do you know about Amsterdam? Red lights district and coffee shops? Well, the authors of this article assure that it is far not all Amsterdam has to offer: it has bikes and loads of them, museums, great architecture, canals and sculptures everywhere. Also, be prepared for an incendiary night life, the other part of the coin. Cool place!

Belarus

This is an article that could have as a motto the phrase: "Better one time to see it, than seven times being explained about it". It provides some good pictures of Minsk, so that everybody can make its impressions about this city.   More...

Russia
Submitted by christine on 2007-05-03 10:21:59 (via www.trekearth.com)
Oh my God, this article relates about almost same actions that were made by the author of the previous article, named also “Russia”, but with a diametric opposite approach. Here is the great happiness of a person to see other landscapes and cultures; and even there is a cultural shock present, it is so well regarded by the author.

Russia
Submitted by christine on 2007-05-03 10:17:14 (via www.itmw.com)
Imagine yourself a trip from London to St. Petersburg... No, you probably do not understand, it is not a plane trip in which in two hours you face a completely different culture; it is a trip by bus and by train and this means you have some time to adapt to the new conditions. However, the cultural shock is evident. Read more…

New Zealand
Submitted by pablo on 2007-05-03 10:14:19 (via www.tor.cc)
“Overall, I'm finding New Zealand attractive, but a bit bland. Not boring, just bland. Culturally, it's as Americanized as most other white countries these days, so besides the accent and the fact that they drive on the left, this could almost be the states. McDonalds, Starbucks, and giant supermarket chains are everywhere”. Interesting approach…

Finland, Dresden and Prague

Besides the description of the landscape and the architecture of these three places, I liked the description of the women in these locations :). Why not? The climatic conditions of Europe make women look so beautiful, isn’t it?

Blinded By Love
Submitted by christine on 2007-05-02 06:33:55 (via www.thousandbars.blogspot.com)
The author of this article is a truly beer lover and expert. He can smack the different tastes of beer and make the difference among all the sorts of beer offered, let them be bottled or non- bottled. It’s indeed amazing to have these qualities. Just the qualities of a super barman!   More...

New Orleans Jazz Fest
Submitted by roxy on 2007-05-02 06:31:26 (via www.pubclub.com)
The jazz fest is an absolutely cool event: everyone around is totally friendly and people are kicking back on lawn chairs while others dance on the grass. The atmosphere here is great – everyone partying, drinking alcohol as well as other things. Not to forget the excellent food.   More...

Aleppo, Syria
Submitted by guided on 2007-04-29 08:06:50 (via www.oldworldwandering.com)
Young boys pushed heavily laden carts between falafel stands, ignoring freshly chopped tomatoes and the protests of bubbling oil. Past bright bolts of fabric and military surplus stores – their eyes now wandering, drifting to the uniforms they must one day wear – they continued, working casually, too young to be conscious of their labour.   More...

UT-12
Submitted by christine on 2007-04-27 10:43:37 (via www.travellersonline.net)
"The UT-12 between Escalante and Torrey is surely one of our favorite roads; one of the best seen on the trip. We drive through 70 miles of wonderlands that we could only have dreamed before. If I ever reach inner peace, I'll reach it in some place like this”. Nice thoughts about a road:). But it is much more than a road this article…   More...
