| The terrain of Guatemala is amazing - sharp, jungle covered peaks as far as the eye can see. Beautiful to look at, a pain in the butt to bike. It's one thing to bike uphill, but in Guatemala it's up, down, up, down, up, down. You can be climbing for most of the day and not gain any altitude at all. But there is so much more to this account.

| Get the reality of Rome: the noise, the graffiti, the ever-present traffic, and the never-ending barriers of parked vehicles… but still, the historic sights -- ruins and excavations, including the Coliseum (wonderfully lit at night) and Forum were awesome.

| For those preoccupied with little white balls, Madison is nice place to be. Even for the rest there are plenty of other ways to keep busy, especially a trip to Baraboo, where you can observe the development of a baby stork, for example, like this lady did.

| Riding in this train is a different experience. I doubt you can get it anywhere else. People climbed in through the windows followed by tons of luggage; others were trying to climb up the steps into the carriage with giant suitcases and huge cardboard boxes and bags Besides these particularities it was it’s length that amazed me – 165 cars...

| 'Make sure you have a hat on' said my guide as we entered the cave. I ignored him - why the hell would I want to wear a hat in a cave?.. Then I got the answer to my question. I could feel dozens of small drops of moisture on my face and head… I could feel dozens of small drops of moisture on my face and head. What could it be?

| Alligators, snakes, piranhas the all must beautiful animals of the planet seem to concentrate in this region of Bolivia. Anyway, so a nice travelogue resulted out of all this. It’s fantastic that people are still able to perceive the miracle of the jungle, of the wild nature hidden somewhere in South America.

| I have never heard of Huli people, but this travelogue impressed me so deeply that I am just so confused from where to begin. Everything, from the women’s menstruation cycle taboo, the compensation for wedding or for killing, the mix of cultures and other stuff is just so different! Truly unbelievable!!!

| There seems no boredom at the Waunita Quest Ranch. There are so many activities to do that there appears the overwhelming temptation to try them all. Good decision, but after having a vacation at this ranch make sure to have some extra days to rest at home before you go to work.
