| “Dachau left a strong impression on me: one that is more forceful, more intense than I expected; one that has gone deeper than I initially would have wished.” Reading about the horror, the famine and the cruelty a prisoner in such a camp endured, I’ve realized over again how blessed we are to have the freedom we enjoy today.

| “Fuerteventura is an island where if you were accused of being a witch, the town-folk would bind you to a steak on the mountain top to scorch in the sun for 5 days without food or water. If you survived, you were burned--certainly you must be a witch. If you were dead, it was a pity...someone must have made an error.” This is fun to read.

| The isle of Skye, located off the western coast of Scotland is well known for its marvelous scenery, especially when the sun is shining. Its bare hills, cliffs overlooking the water, grazing lands for sheep and the hairy highland cow, and the occasional farmhouse or B&B, usually built of stone or painted white will make for the highlight of a trip.

| What a wonderful article. Cappadocia - but how do you get to see such a beautiful essence of a place, and describe it in such a way that it brings up your curiosity and draws you to it? I guess the fact that this is Turkey also adds to its charm.
